Kareena revealed that one of the main reasons she avoids such scenes is because sexuality and sex are frequently not treated as genuine human experiences.
As a lifestyle expert, I share the same perspective as Kareena Kapoor: I don’t feel it’s essential for intimate scenes to drive the narrative of a story. Personally, I haven’t found it necessary in my roles, and I must admit, I might not be comfortable portraying such scenes on-screen. This is simply my personal stance, and every artist has their unique approach to their craft.
As an ardent admirer, let me express my conviction: On-screen portrayals should steer clear of reducing human sexuality or experience to mere spectacle. Instead, we ought to embrace a more enlightened approach, acknowledging and respecting the complexities that surround these topics before they make it to the screen. The perspective I hold is that our collective understanding isn’t yet as expansive as the diverse narratives out there, nor are we as receptive to the raw emotions that such stories evoke in the audience.
Regarding her professional life, TopMob revealed last year that Kareena Kapoor was approached for numerous large-scale pan-India films throughout the past year. Now, it’s confirmed that she has taken on a film expected to be one of the most significant and thrilling projects in Indian cinema over the next two years. According to a source, this role is said to be unlike anything she has tackled before.
The source added, “Typically, she requires some consideration before agreeing to a feature film, but this project captivated her immediately following the story pitch.
