It’s no secret to anyone that the second season of the popular Paramount+ series “Landman,” created by Taylor Sheridan, has been confirmed. The series, which debuted towards the end of last year, stars Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris and is set in the oil fields of West Texas, where roughnecks and wildcat billionaires are driving a boom that’s having a significant impact on our climate, economy, and geopolitics.
According to the timeline, the series titled “Landman” has been granted a second season due to the remarkable achievement of its inaugural season. Not only did it boast Paramount+’s top premiere and finale viewings in the past two years among original series, but it set records for both. Given that they’ve also given us popular shows like “Tulsa King,” “Mayor of Kingstown,” and “Lioness” from creator Taylor Sheridan, this is quite an impressive feat for a drama production.
