Apple TV+’s Brad Pitt-Starring ‘F1’ Film Drops Official Trailer

The much-awaited premiere of the Brad Pitt-starring F1 movie on Apple TV+ is about to unfold. The enticing preview for the film drops at the perfect moment, coinciding with the start of the Formula One racing season in Australia this coming weekend.

In the hands of the makers responsible for “Top Gun: Maverick,” the movie titled “F1” pairs Brad Pitt with Damson Idris. Pitt assumes the role of Sonny Hayes, a former F1 driver once hailed as the greatest never to have fully realized his potential. After a severe accident in the 1990s cut short his career, he’s now a seasoned racer-for-hire living as a nomad. Thirty years later, Sonny is approached by Ruben Cervantes, portrayed by Javier Bardem, the owner of an F1 team on the brink of failure. With the promise of redemption, Cervantes convinces Sonny to return and partner with up-and-coming driver Joshua Pearce, played by Idris. As Sonny embarks on his journey towards atonement, he takes to the track one final time.

The movie titled F1 is helmed by director Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, along with Kosinski, Brad Pitt, Lewis Hamilton, Jeremy Kleiner, Dede Gardner, and Chad Oman. Ehren Kruger is credited for the screenplay. In addition to this star-studded team, the film features Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Kim Bodnia in key roles. F1 is set to make its grand debut on IMAX screens on June 25, with a North American release following on June 27.
