Kaitlin Olson Wants Fans to Yell This NSFW Line from ‘Hacks’ in Public

Following Kaitlin Olson‘s portrayal of Sweet Dee with her characteristic wit and vulgarity on “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”, it came as a surprise when she switched gears to appear on ABC’s new comedy-drama, “High Potential“, set for the 2025 TV lineup this fall. The series aims to resolve some major cliffhangers from Season 2. Her performance in this show is surprisingly clean, and it seems unlikely that it will generate a wealth of quotable lines for fans to shout at her in public.

Instead of the usual “Shut up, bird!” shout-outs from fans related to her role in Always Sunny, the actress has experienced something quite different. In fact, having someone call out “Hey, Morgan!” from across the street isn’t all that unusual for her. However, she expressed a delight if fans shouted one of her most memorable, adult-themed lines from HBO’s Hacks, as she revealed during her appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. To quote her directly:

Experiencing such happiness is still something I haven’t encountered, although I often hear “Dee’s a bird.” However, I haven’t heard anyone say “What a cunt” yet, which disappoints my kids quite a bit. They have seen the episode, and they enjoy mimicking that phrase when they can.

Among all the phrases one could shout at someone, particularly someone admired by the shouter, “What a cunt!” is likely the farthest from friendly greetings like “Hi!” or simply calling out their name. This sort of remark is more likely to enhance the shouter’s image as an ardent fan in the eyes of the celebrity, while simultaneously distancing them from everyone else in the vicinity.

It might be wiser to choose a time when no one else is present, but that could lead you into walking through a deserted and silent hospital corridor. Suddenly, you might encounter Kaitlin Olson, causing you to blurt out an inappropriate remark in front of a group of mothers nursing their babies. (I’m unsure about the specific workings of this hospital.)

It would likely be more suitable to find a moment when no one else is around. However, this could result in finding yourself strolling along an eerily quiet and vacant hospital corridor. In this instance, you might unexpectedly bump into Kaitlin Olson, leading to the unintentional utterance of an indecent phrase in front of a group of breastfeeding mothers. (I’m clueless about the layout of this hospital.)

But it might still be worth trying it out, because as Olson herself put it:

It’s a home-run punchline.

In question, a particularly impactful line was delivered with enthusiasm in the third episode of the Emmy-winning third season of “Hacks,” titled “The Roast of Deborah Vance.” Penned by comedian Joe Mande, this episode is undeniably remarkable, typifying the quality one would anticipate from a fictional roast within a series focusing on stand-ups. However, it was not necessarily an episode that earned an award. If there exists something known as the Cuntys, I’m unsure if it played a role in this context.

Kaitlin Olson Offered New Viewers Advice On Starting It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia

As a movie enthusiast, I proudly share my love for the gripping series, “High Potential,” with my husband Rob McElhenney, who is equally captivated by its plotlines. We are blessed with two wonderful children together, and it seems our shared affection for “High Potential” extends to them, as they occasionally join in our amusement by repeating lines from the show. While I suspect our 14-year-old might find the darker themes in “High Potential” intriguing, we have made a concerted effort to keep them away from the more adult content of another one of our favorites, “It’s Always Sunny,” for as long as possible. However, as time passes and they become more mature, it becomes increasingly challenging to continue delaying their exposure to such shows.

Of course, there arrived the awkward instance when the teenager’s father, playing Mac in the show “Always Sunny,” assembled the peculiar home workout gadget known as the Ass-Pounder 4000. For those in the know, this device is essentially an exercise bike fitted with a dildo in a strategic location, offering an experience not typically encountered while cycling outdoors. Olson’s response was priceless, consisting mainly of noises, as she humorously described it.

Afterward, I find myself saying, ‘Ah, let me think for a moment,’ and then I’m unsure about the appropriate background information to provide. So, I respond, “Go ahead and explore on your own.

The world can only wish that this child matures into a comedian who produces some of the most exceptional humor ever known, anything short of that will merely resemble Charlie’s style.
