Indeed, not only did the skilled performer convincingly portray Count Orlok in Nosferatu, but it’s fascinating to note that he was equally unnerved by the character’s haunting design in the movie. It must have been quite unsettling for him, as he was completely transformed with prosthetics all over his body and required to modify his voice dramatically for the role.
