Playboi Carti Reveals ‘MUSIC – SORRY 4 DA WAIT’

It’s hard to believe we’re saying this, but Playboi Carti truly released the deluxe edition. After teasing on Instagram that an extended version of his album “MUSIC” was coming soon, today he surprised fans by actually following through and unveiling the long-awaited deluxe version of the album, titled: “MUSIC – SORRY 4 DA WAIT“.

Four additional songs have been appended to the end of the original MUSIC album, bringing the total number of tracks to 34. The newly included tracks are “DIFFERENT DAY,” “2024,” a collaboration with Travis Scott titled “BACKR00MS,” and “FOMDJ.” These songs have been added after the original version’s closing track, “SOUTH ATLANTA BABY.

First, he posted “2024” on his YouTube channel in December of 2023, followed by “BACKR00MS” (featuring Scott) in January 2024, both as YouTube exclusives. Unfortunately, these songs didn’t make it to the final tracklist for MUSIC. Consequently, the tracklist for SORRY 4 DA WAIT was a welcome addition for fans.

Additionally, Carti revealed the official music video for “FOMDJ” alongside the longer version of his project.

After an impressive run of weeks for Carti, his deluxe album is set to release, following the massive success of his “MUSIC” which has claimed the year’s highest debut in 2025, and the seventh-best first-day debut ever recorded.
