Candace Cameron Bure And Dave Coulier Had A Wholesome Exchange After He Announced He’s Cancer Free, But I Didn’t See The ‘Poopoo’ Nickname Coming

After Dave Coulier received a cancer diagnosis, the actor from “Full House” has been displaying great resilience, with his family and former co-stars providing him constant support, many of whom consider each other like family. One of those offering support is Candace Cameron Bure, who earlier discussed the diagnosis and how heartbreaking it was when Coulier called to share the news. Several months have passed, and today, Bure is overjoyed to announce that Coulier is now cancer-free. The two had a touching interaction, which included a playful “poopoo” nickname.

Bure took to Instagram on Monday to cheer on the news that Coulier is now cancer-free after being previously diagnosed with Stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma in October. The GAF actress and producer shared some sweet photos of herself and Coulier from over the years, including from their Full House days, and totally kept it clean.

Indeed, the comments were overflowing with affection. Additionally, Coulier even joined the conversation to shower Bure with love, using a unique nickname that piques my curiosity as to its origin.

Dave Coulier: Love you so much, poopoo❤️

Candace Cameron Bure: @dcoulier love YOU so much ❤️

This interaction is quite endearing, with the “poopoo” nickname hinting at a shared inside joke or bond between them. It’s evident how close they are, as Bure openly expressed her affection for Coulier without any hesitation. Their personalized nicknames for each other add an extra layer of warmth to their relationship, making it even more special, over three decades after the debut of Full House.

On The Masked Singer, Bure paid tribute to the late Bob Saget while also expressing support for Coulier when he revealed his cancer diagnosis on social media. Meanwhile, John Stamos donned a bald cap in solidarity with his longtime friend, and after some criticism that it was just a bald cap, Coulier defended Stamos by saying he found it amusing. In addition, Stamos sent a heartfelt New Year’s greeting to Coulier, which was touching to observe.

Coulier’s cancer journey wasn’t simple, but he kept his followers informed through frequent social media posts, demonstrating his resilience. More recently, he has spoken candidly about missing Saget and imagined what he might have said upon receiving the diagnosis, as well as expressing his desire to be there for him.

For years, I’ve been an avid fan of the classic sitcom “Full House”. There’s nothing that brings me greater joy than watching the cast interact with each other and reconnect. Moreover, it’s heartwarming to keep the spirit of their late colleague alive. Now that Coulier has triumphantly overcome cancer, fans can rejoice in the knowledge that he is doing well. Furthermore, we can anticipate many more heartfelt moments and reunions as the “Full House” family shares in this wonderful news.
