Manoj Kumar Prayer Meet: Aamir Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Jaya Bachchan and more Bollywood celebs unite to pay tribute to legendary actor

The entire Bollywood community is mourning the sad passing of the late, legendary actor Manoj Kumar. He passed away on Friday, April 4th, 2025, at the age of 87. In his honor, a memorial service was held that attracted numerous Bollywood stars such as Farhan Akhtar, Aamir Khan, Jaya Bachchan, and others.

On April 6th, a prayer gathering was held by the family of the late Manoj Kumar, honoring the legendary actor. Photographers positioned nearby snapped photos of attendees as they arrived from a distance.

Aamir Khan cordially greeted Kumar’s relatives waiting outside prior to entering the hall. Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar and his mother, Honey Irani, made their entrance for the prayer service of the renowned actor. Furthermore, Jaya Bachchan briefly conversed with Anu Malik before stepping into the venue.

Outside the venue, Esha Deol, daughter of veteran actress Hema Malini, was spotted disembarking from a car. She respectfully greeted an elderly man waiting outside and conversed with him prior to entering. Additionally, she acknowledged producer Ashoke Pandit who stood outside the hall, guiding her towards the entrance.

Prem Chopra, who had a strong connection with Kumar and starred in notable films such as Shaheed, attended his friend’s memorial service. As he entered the venue, he graciously acknowledged the waiting photographers by slightly raising his hand.

Additionally, renowned filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, accompanied by his wife Pinkie Roshan, came to offer their sympathies to the grieving family. Upon exiting their vehicle, the director of Karan Arjun greeted veteran music composer Lalit Pandit with a handshake.

Alongside this gathering, a number of notable figures such as veteran filmmaker Ramesh Sippy, singers Sonu Nigam and Udit Narayan, actors Shekhar Suman, Vindu Dara Singh, Johnny Lever, David Dhawan with his wife Laali Dhawan, actor Mukesh Rishi, Neil Nitin Mukesh accompanied by his spouse were among those who attended the prayer meeting.

On the morning of April 4, 2025, Manoj Kumar sadly took his final breath following several days in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. His funeral ceremony was held on April 5, a day that saw Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Salim Khan, and Prem Chopra among others in attendance.
