As a dedicated fan, I eagerly anticipate the fifth season of “Stranger Things,” where our band of extraordinary teenagers from Hawkins, Indiana, embark on their final adventure. In 2025, we’ll witness one more thrilling encounter as they confront the remnants of the Upside Down, knowing that not all characters will make it through this climactic series finale. Finn Wolfhard, our beloved Mike Wheeler, has hinted at his character’s destiny, sparking much speculation among us fans.
According to an article published in People magazine, the actor disclosed some tantalizing tidbits regarding Stranger Things Season 5. When discussing his last day on set, filming the series finale that kickstarted his career, Wolfhard expressed his astonishment, saying “I simply couldn’t believe it at all.” He didn’t reveal specifics about Mike’s actions in the concluding episodes, but he did acknowledge feeling “perplexed and melancholic.
I found his conclusion delightful, yet strangely mixed with contentment, bewilderment, and melancholy. There was an inexplicable sense of joy amidst the confusion and sorrow, as if I were lost in a dreamlike state. Everything seemed surreal, almost unbelievable. It was just…perfectly bizarre.
It appears that the concluding season of “Stranger Things” is probably still undergoing adjustments during post-production since filming ended in December 2024. Meanwhile, Finn Wolfhard, one of the cast members, shared some insights about shooting the final episodes.
The situation didn’t become clear until the following day, reminding me of an emotional aftermath from a night out. However, it culminated positively, and I can’t stop myself from expressing warm sentiments about everyone involved. In fact, the entire cast stayed for the final day, making the atmosphere quite heartwarming and enjoyable.
Experiencing the role of Mike in Stranger Things has undeniably left an indelible impact on my life. Following Season 1, I ventured into other captivating projects, such as stepping into the shoes of Bill Denbrough in the Stephen King adaptations It and It: Chapter Two, and joining the revival of the iconic Ghostbusters franchise. Moreover, 2025 marked a significant milestone with the release of Hell of a Summer, my directorial debut in a feature film (co-directed with Billy Bryk). In an interview with People, it seems I acknowledge that I may have been somewhat ahead of my time in an industry notoriously challenging for child actors.
I wouldn’t change anything in my past, but if given a chance, I’d go back to when the popular show debuted, and instead of watching it unfold, I would seek therapy immediately. However, things happened so quickly and unexpectedly, there wasn’t much time for reflection at that moment.
‘Stranger Things‘ Season 5 Is Coming (Sometime in 2025)
As of now, we don’t know exactly when Season 5 of Stranger Things will be out. The showrunners have mentioned that it will air in 2025, but they haven’t given any further details. Despite the cast members hinting at aspects of the series finale for quite a while now, Netflix is being secretive about the specifics, and no trailer has been unveiled as yet.
If we were to make an informed guess or speculate, it seems likely that there will be news about Stranger Things Season 5 in the near future. This announcement is expected to happen during the upcoming Netflix Tudum event on May 31, 2025. We hope they’ll reveal both the release date and a trailer at this event. Keep your fingers crossed, as we’ll bring you more details as they become available.
