In an open conversation, he emphasized that, compared to Kareena Kapoor’s sons Taimur and Jeh, he experienced a more “ordinary upbringing.

During an interview with Filmfare, Ibrahim Ali Khan expressed feelings about his background in the film industry by saying, “I look at Jehangir and Taimur, and a sense of sadness arises within me sometimes.

He clarified his idea, highlighting that Taimur and Jeh, who happen to be quite young, are frequently photographed by the press whenever they leave their residence. However, when they’re at home, they’re usually found playing with their iPhones and iPads instead.

In a recent statement, the actor from Nadaaniyan emphasized a familiar thought: it’s common nowadays for children as young as eight to use iPads for games, which wasn’t the case when he was growing up. Instead, he would spend his time playing outside.

He expressed the belief that he is part of the final generation to experience a traditional upbringing. He pointed out that during his childhood, there were no smartphones, smart TVs, OTT platforms, iPhones or iPads. He also commented that the constant presence of paparazzi makes it difficult for today’s children to live freely.

As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but share my admiration for Ibrahim’s reminiscence of a typical upbringing. Reflecting on his life post-18, he grappled with the limelight of the paparazzi. Yet, what truly resonated with me was his longing for an unadorned childhood – one untouched by screens and blissfully oblivious to the world’s opinions and commentary.

Ibrahim believes that a child should grow up in an environment that is both secure and cozy. He expressed his opinion by saying that children should perceive their surroundings as safe, and they should have a sense of a smaller world. However, he pointed out that due to the prevalence of paparazzi culture, screens, tablets, iPads, and YouTube, children are already aware of the world’s vastness.

He expressed his gratitude for not being famous or recognized at such a young age, around 4 or 5 years old, as he put it towards the end of their discussion.

Ibrahim recently appeared in his first acting role alongside Khushi Kapoor in the Netflix romantic comedy “Nadaaniyan,” which premiered a month ago.
