Bitcoin’s Wild Ride: Why $87K is Just the Start of the Drama 🎢

Bitcoin (BTC) was out here flirting with new April highs like it’s on a first date with Wall Street. But let’s be real, everyone’s side-eyeing this so-called “strength” like it’s a suspiciously cheap Rolex. 🕵️‍♀️

Bitcoin price faces multiple resistance hurdles

According to CryptoMoon Markets Pro and TradingView, BTC/USD was trying to break through $86,000 like it’s a piñata at a kid’s birthday party. 🎉

Thanks to a weekend of flexing, the pair was gunning for $90,000, a level it hasn’t seen since early March. But let’s not get too excited—macroeconomic volatility, aka the US trade war, is still lurking like that one friend who always ruins the vibe. 🙄

“It’s hilarious how sentiment changes faster than a toddler’s mood. One minute everyone’s screaming for 50k, the next they’re all-in on the first green candle. This emotional whiplash is why most traders end up crying into their ramen,” quipped Stockmoney Lizards on X. 🍜

“While short-term momentum looks bullish, we’ve got a few more hurdles to jump before we can call this correction over.”

Stockmoney Lizards predicted rangebound action for a while, with Bitcoin building up energy like a caffeinated squirrel before its next big move. 🐿️

“Once we clear the 97k zone, the path to 110k+ becomes much more viable by late summer.”

Brandt: BTC trendline break is not “transition of trend”

Traders were all abuzz about Bitcoin’s attempt to break a multimonth downward trend line. Spoiler: it’s not as exciting as it sounds. 🥱

This trend line has been hanging around since Bitcoin hit its all-time high in January. Now, it’s losing its grip like a cheap phone case. 📱

“It didn’t break the downtrend just for $86K—it’s aiming for a higher high near the 200 MA,” said SuperBro on X, referring to the 200-day simple moving average, currently at $87,566. 📈

“If the higher high is successful, which it probably will be, it can retrace for a higher low before making a run for the wedge target above $100K,” he added. 🏃‍♂️

But not everyone’s buying the hype. Veteran trader Peter Brandt was like, “Trendlines? Pfft. They’re about as significant as a participation trophy.” 🏆

“A trendline violation does NOT signify a transition of trend $BTC.”
