According to Mid-Day, the production of this film is set to commence on April 18, 2025, at Esel Studio in Trombay. The report also states that the shooting schedule will span over four months, concluding by June.
A source within the industry shared with the publication that the unnamed movie, focusing on the life story of ex-Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria, is reminiscent of a gripping tale. It’s packed with tension and significant moments; from his probe into the 1993 Bombay bombings and the 26/11 incidents, to his confrontations with criminal underworld figures.
According to the information given, the film is planned to follow the life story of a boy from Bandra who became a policeman, highlighting his bond with Mumbai and his significant role in safeguarding the city during various attacks. The movie will be filmed at approximately 40 locations throughout Mumbai. It’s also mentioned that about 150 crew members are expected to work on set during the initial production phase.
