Fear of God, StockX and More Bring Ryan Coogler’s ‘Sinners’ to the Streets

In the new movie by Ryan Coogler, titled “Sinners”, Michael B. Jordan, a frequent collaborator, takes center stage. From what we’ve seen in trailers, it appears to be an action-packed, thrilling experience. The story follows twin brothers Smoke and Stack (played by Jordan), who return to their hometown with hopes of starting fresh, but encounter a sinister supernatural force instead. Alongside Jordan, the cast includes Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton making his film debut, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller, Buddy Guy, and Delroy Lindo. “Sinners” is Coogler and Jordan’s fifth collaboration and has garnered the best critical acclaim of any wide release this year.

To celebrate the upcoming blockbuster in 2025, Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God collaborated with Coogler to develop a unique, limited-time collection. Notable items in this capsule include a graphic hoodie and T-shirt adorned with “Sinners” and “Dance With the Devil” typography, referencing the film’s incorporation of music as a narrative tool. The collection also features vibrant color-blocking and joint branding to symbolize the movie’s upcoming release. In an Instagram post prior to the capsule launch, Lorenzo stated, “I’ve blended my past filled with sin with our God-fearing brand…It’s in these delicate moments that we either face destruction or find the insight to transform and be reoriented.” The profits from the limited-edition clothing items were donated to the Altadena Community Fund.

Michael B. Jordan has collaborated with well-known sneaker designer Andu to create a unique pair of shoes called “Smoke & Stack Juke Low.” Andu’s custom design combines elements of light and darkness (salvation and damnation) by integrating the traditional Tabi oxford facade with ASICS’ sporty style. The sidewalls feature blue and red stripes, while a split-toe design adds an unusual touch to the leather construction and thick midsole. This modern design also carries a hint of Southern charm, reminiscent of vintage 1930s oxford boots. Jordan has partnered with StockX, a Detroit-based sneaker resale marketplace, to sell this one-of-a-kind shoe. The shoe is only available in size 10, and bids can be placed for $1 USD on StockX starting today at noon ET. Winners will have the opportunity to purchase the pair.
