Hugh Jackman’s SHOCKING Confession: ‘1 Thing Ryan Reynolds Did to Me’

The film featuring Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool/Wade Wilson and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine/Logan, last summer’s blockbuster, was nothing less than a cinematic triumph for Marvel enthusiasts. Nevertheless, during a recent performance at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, Jackman playfully expressed some disagreement with Reynolds.

According to Jackman, during a part of his stage performance where he discussed Deadpool and Wolverine, he expressed his feelings about making the blockbuster as, “To be honest, I absolutely loved it. It was an incredible experience for me.” Yet, he added with a chuckle, “Please keep this secret from Ryan.

In essence, Jackman pointed out that both he and Ryan appear in every scene of the movie titled “Deadpool & Wolverine”. However, there’s an exception at the beginning since Ryan’s character needs to locate him first. Jackman expressed no issue with not being present in every scene, but when he read the script, he noticed that his absence was in the opening sequence, which is a dance number set to the NSYNC song “Bye, Bye, Bye”.

Jackman Jokes About Not Being Included in the Dance Number

Speaking as an ardent admirer, “As a multitalented individual like myself, known for my skills in dance among other things, I can’t help but wonder when it comes to Ryan, who is incredibly gifted, about his dancing abilities.” This statement was followed by laughter from the audience as he posed this query.

Afterward, the star declared his intent to address the issue live, making clear that he wouldn’t aim to mimic the choreography by Darrin Henson (the film’s choreographer) or the stand-in dancer for Reynolds.

Jackman made it clear he wouldn’t attempt to mimic Ryan’s dance double, Nick Pauley, who is 25 years his junior,” Jackman stated. Instead, he introduced his choreographer, Beth Lewis, who had created a dance routine for Jackman’s stage show to the NSYNC song. The performance was named “The Dance That Escape Me” by Jackman, and he went on to perform it for the Radio City Music Hall crowd.
