Recently, I had the pleasure of listening to Rahul Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt’s son and Alia Bhatt’s step-brother, in an exclusive chat with TopMob’s Hindi Rush. In this heartfelt conversation, he showered praise on his half-brother-in-law, the talented actor Ranbir Kapoor, for his role as a loving father. Rahul Bhatt was questioned about his thoughts on Ranbir Kapoor’s preparation for his hit movie, “Animal”. In response, he expressed, “Ranbir is an exceptional father. I believe this is the most significant quality a man can possess. I hold him in high regard for that.

When queried about his acting abilities, he responded, “To be honest, I can’t seem to wrap my head around it… What is acting? Who is an actor? Who is ‘The Animal’ or Kapoor? It doesn’t matter to me…

He’s truly a great father, I must say. I hold him in high regard for his affection towards his daughter. As for names, fame, or other worldly matters, they are transient compared to this.

Besides this, he also mentioned that Ranbir Kapoor sought his advice during the preparation for the movie “Animal”. “While getting ready for ‘Animal’, he had some queries. He was planning to go to Abu Dhabi for weapons training and asked me if it was a suitable location. He’s quite earnest and inquisitive about human nature,” he shared, adding that they have been acquainted since their childhood days.

For years, we’ve been friends, going back to when he was just a child. While I attended Arya Mandir, he studied at Bombay Scottish. What truly stands out about him is his exceptional role as a father…everything else pales in comparison,” he emphasized.

Following a lovely courtship, it was in April 2022 that I tied the knot with Alia, and we were blessed with our precious daughter Raha Kapoor in November of the same year. On the acting front, we’re excited to team up again for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, sharing the screen with Vicky Kaushal as well.
