The Royals: ‘My co-actor is so snackable,’ confesses Bhumi Pednekar; Ishaan Khatter admits he is ‘guilty as charged’

Ishaan Khatter and Bhumi Pednekar are joining forces for the OTT series “The Royals.” In this romantic comedy set in a royal family, they will be each other’s leading actors. The trailer and songs from the series showcase Ishaan’s impressive physique and appearance, which has drawn much attention. Recently, Bhumi openly acknowledged that Ishaan is quite appealing, while Ishaan himself admitted to being responsible for this charm.

In my line of work as a lifestyle expert, I recently had the pleasure of chatting with Bhumi Pednekar on Just Too Filmy. She opened up about her experience being part of The Royals, where she found refreshing freedom from objectification. Interestingly enough, she mentioned that throughout much of her career, she’s managed to avoid such treatment.

Regarding her co-star Ishaan Khatter, Bhumi mentioned, “Working with him made the whole project enjoyable since he’s quite charming to act alongside. In fact, I’ve noticed people becoming quite smitten by Ishaan now.” She further explained that she hadn’t experienced such a ‘setting’ before.

In the course of their discussion, Ishaan was questioned about the attention he’s been receiving due to his physique. He responded by mentioning that the premiere of the show was yet to come and there were many other aspects to it beyond just his physical self.

Ishaan expressed, “Adding to my previous point, the show has a lot more depth than meets the eye. And, by the way, if you’re pointing fingers, I’m guilty as charged! Now, here’s something interesting – this newfound attention is quite novel for me and I must admit, it’s flattering. To make things clear, we, the cast members, are genuinely enjoying all of this.

Ishaan went on to explain that The Royals was chosen primarily because of the richness of the character he would portray – a prince. He stressed that the show’s flashy elements like glamour and beauty were integral parts of his character, not merely added for aesthetic purposes.
