The Grand Finale: Go Battle Week is scheduled to conclude the Season of Might and Mastery with an impressive roster, featuring for the first time Urshifu and Gigantamax Machamp as headliners. From May 21st to 27th, this event signifies the final push towards mastery, offering a variety of new encounters, evolutions, and perks for all the progress achieved so far.
You’ve reached a milestone! Now, you can evolve your Kubfu into Urshifu. To do this, collect 200 Kubfu Candies and apply some clever tactics. In order to meet the desired style, defeat 30 Dark-type or 30 Water-type Pokemon in raids or Max Battles with Kubfu as your partner. You’ll then have the option to choose between Single Strike Urshifu and Rapid Strike Urshifu to suit your preference.
The ongoing free Special Research for this event advances the narrative of Might and Mastery, providing you additional Kubfu Candy, Mysterious Components, and unique encounters themed around Charcadet featuring a Special Background. Furthermore, it offers an opportunity to evolve traditional combat choices such as Mankey, Seel, and Froakie into Pokémon that possess exclusive attacks.
Additionally, you can choose from exclusive premium experiences. The Timed Research for $1.99 offers two Premium Battle Passes, Lucky Eggs, and additional themed Pokémon. For $7.99, the Fuzzy Fighter Special Research allows you to reconnect with Dynamax Kubfu, complete with extra items and seasonal-themed encounters. Both options remain available until the event concludes, along with the Fuzzy Fighter Ultra Ticket Box in the Pokémon Go online store.
Ultimately, on May 25th (Sunday), the climax arrives as Gigantamax Machamp makes its six-star debut. From 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, each Power Spot will feature Gigantamax Battles where Max Particle rewards are enhanced and the collection limit is increased. Swipe these rewards for additional free items!
