Panchayat x Gram Chikitsalay: Here’s what happens when Banrakas meets Dr Prabhat from upcoming TVF series

Following the success of three seasons of the comedy-drama television series Panchayat, creators are now preparing to launch another show titled Gram Chikitsalay. Not long ago, The Viral Fever (TVF) team unveiled a sneak peek at their upcoming production, featuring Banrakas (Bhushan), a character from their previous breakout hit. Catch the exciting storyline as Banrakas encounters Dr. Prabhat in his clinic.

Similar to Panchayat, Gram Chikitsalay features Amol Parashar portraying Dr. Prabhat, stationed in a village this time around. Before its release on Amazon Prime Video, the creators released a promotional video depicting Banrakas (character played by Durgesh Kumar) informing the villagers of Bhatkandi about the upcoming elections in Phulera.

As he delivers a political speech, he crosses paths with Phutani, who takes Banrakas to meet Dr. Prabhat, assuming the new doctor could treat him first. When the healthcare worker queries Banrakas about his issue, he expresses his dilemma: “Elections are happening in Phulera and I am not receiving any votes.

In their post, the creators wrote, “News from the Village Health Centers has reached Phulera to Bhatkandi. #GramChikitsalayOnPrime, New Series, Airing on May 9.” (From Village Health Centers, news has spread from Bhatkandi to Phulera. #GramChikitsalayOnPrime, New Series, premieres on May 9)

Watch the promotional video of Gram Chikitsalay:

In the video, as the doctor questioned Banrakas about his injury, a resident of Phulera responded, “It’s on the shoulder of the village chief.” However, the doctor was not satisfied with this answer and called upon his assistant Phutani to examine the patient’s condition. Upon doing so, they discovered that rats had damaged the blood pressure machine and jackals had eaten the stethoscope. To make matters worse, the medicines brought for treatment were actually sold by Phutani himself.

When hearing about the clinic’s predicament, Banrakas inquired whether it was actually a clinic or a cafeteria. Moreover, he swiftly mentioned that if he were the leader of Bhatkandi, he would have sent the doctor home for the day. In the promotional video, Banrakas speaks to the audience and emphasizes that the doctor seems to be finding inconsistencies in the footage shown.

As Banrakas publicizes the approaching program titled Gram Chikitsalay, the video concludes. Although the crew has yet to verify a cross-over between their two Viral Fever series, such an opportunity seems promising for the coming days.
