Ashley Greene, Seth Green to Star in Director Peter Facinelli’s Rom-Com ‘Grace Period’ (Exclusive)

Ashley Greene and Seth Green are all set to serve up some laughter in a heartwarming romantic comedy, providing a fresh perspective on contemporary relationships.

The duo will appear in director Peter Facinelli’s upcoming movie titled “Grace Period,” which is produced by Wango Films. This film will be presented to potential buyers during Cannes later this month, before the anticipated start of filming in August.

The story revolves around Willa (Greene), who in a spur-of-the-moment decision, seeks Dr. Rubin’s assistance (played by Matt Walsh, an Emmy nominee) to preserve her fertility through egg freezing. However, complications arise when she encounters her perfect match, Greg (Green). Willa finds herself juggling this experience with the support of both men.

The independent movie brings Facinelli together with Greene once more, as they were costars in the Twilight series, and Green, who acted alongside him in the 1998 teen romantic comedy Can’t Hardly Wait. Facinelli directs this project from a screenplay penned by his real-life partner, Lily Anne Harrison. The producers for this film include Tim Doiron and James van der Woerd from Wango Films, as well as Peter Winther.

I’m excited to return as director for the film Grace Period, which tackles a relevant theme with emotion while providing some valuable laughter. I’ve known Seth and Ashley for what seems like forever, and I can hardly wait to direct their outstanding talents together on screen. With Wango Films and Peter Winther producing, and an exceptional supporting cast, we’re making something extraordinary that audiences will adore.

Facinelli’s previous feature credits as a director include The Vanished and Breaking & Exiting.
