Anupam has traveled to Cannes to debut his second movie as a director, titled “Tanvi the Great.” On Instagram, he posted a touching video documenting their heartfelt reunion. In the clip, they shared a warm hug, and Robert affectionately kissed him.

Kher posted on social media a heartwarming video from their encounter, along with a moving message expressing his delight upon reuniting with De Niro, his spouse Tiffany, and their child Jia at the Cannes event.

As Kher shares, he was deeply touched by their kindness and care, which made a permanent mark on him. It’s said that he extended his congratulations to De Niro for receiving his lifetime achievement award and shared news about the world premiere of his film “Tanvi the Great” at Cannes with him.

Robert De Niro warmly greeted Shubhangi (the actress playing Tanvi) as well as the rest of the team, according to Kher. He also disclosed that he showed De Niro the initial poster of the movie, which the legendary actor adored. Tanvi the Great is ready for its worldwide premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 17.
