62-year-old Tom Cruise made an appearance at the New York premiere of his latest film, “Mission: Impossible – The Last Mission,” on Sunday night. During the event, he spoke about the future of the series to reporters on the red carpet. He suggested that this movie might be his last installment in the “Mission: Impossible” franchise, as the title implies, stating, “It’s the final! It’s not called ‘final’ for no reason.

If things go as planned, the Mission: Impossible series will conclude with Tom Cruise’s portrayal of Ethan Hunt in eight films. Yet, don’t worry fans, as Tom Cruise has promised there are still many action-packed roles for you to look forward to in his future. When questioned about his statements from 2023 regarding acting into his 80s, inspired by Harrison Ford, Cruise shared that he now intends to continue making movies even after reaching his 100th birthday and beyond – yes, even action films!
