A recent expose from YouTube channel Gothic Therapy, presented by MasterOfTheTDS and Writing Raven, has been making waves in gaming communities, revealing shocking truths about Sweet Baby Inc., one of the most contentious narrative consultancies within the industry. Initially portrayed as a high-end firm focusing on amplifying underrepresented voices through storytelling, Sweet Baby Inc. is now confronted with damaging accusations that its establishment was a carefully crafted facade—and it may have ties to the government.
The video named “The End of The Sweet Baby Lie” delves deeper than usual critiques of DEI impact on gaming. It alleges the discovery of a hidden founder, fabricated company documents, and potentially strong links to the Canadian government. If these claims are valid, it suggests that Sweet Baby Inc’s rise in the gaming sector was not a natural progression—but a carefully planned operation.

The Sweet Baby Myth Falls Apart
Sweet Baby Incorporation asserts that it was established back in 2018 by the trio of Kim Belair, Dave Bedard, and Ariadne MacGillivray – a group of friends who shared a vision to revolutionize storytelling within games. This charming genesis tale of Sweet Baby Inc. has been echoed consistently in interviews, discussions, and key speeches for quite some time.

However, upon delving into Canadian government records, it was found that the true narrative actually starts with another individual entirely.
A man named Terrance Jason Huberts.
As per company records, Terrance Jason Huberts was initially included as Vice President, Director, and Shareholder on the first day of operation. He was amongst the original founders of the company in 2018, alongside Kim Belair and Ariadne MacGillivray. However, an unusual event occurred: Huberts’ name was discreetly removed from the records in a corporate amendment about a year later. His shares were then reallocated to Belair, altering the company’s past and erasing Huberts from its history.

Despite joining the company as COO in 2020, years following its founding, Bedard is often labeled as a co-founder. However, this sequence of events seems inconsistent.
And that’s just the beginning.
The Montreal Condo and the Dead Shell Company
On the 21st of May, 2018, nestled within apartment 101 on rue Chomedey, Montreal, I, a movie enthusiast, incorporated two businesses from my humble abode – one being the discreetly dissolved numbered company, 10792357 Canada Inc, and the other, the intriguingly named Sweet Baby Inc.
Initially, the same individual resided in the same apartment building on the same specific date. However, one of them ended up being thrown away, while the other gained widespread recognition and played a crucial role in creating AAA games by focusing on storytelling as a form of narrative fairness.

Despite being the founder, there’s no trace left of him. No websites, no interviews, no social media presence, and no acknowledgement or credit given.
Gothic Therapy calls it what it appears to be: erasure.
The Vanishing Man
As Gothic Therapy delved further into the enigma of Terrance Jason Huberts, events grew increasingly peculiar. No LinkedIn profile, no traceable public records, and no discernible reason why a partner could vanish without a trace. Yet, a tantalizing hint began to emerge.
During the late 1980s, an individual named Terry Huberts held positions as a member of the legislature in British Columbia and served as the Minister of Parks. In rare public appearances during this period, he acknowledged having a child, whom he called Jason.

That name match isn’t trivial. Neither is what came next.
It was discovered through Gothic Therapy that one of Terrance Jason Hubert’s businesses used 475 Elgin Street as its business address in Ottawa. Later on, Terry Huberts ran a veterinary clinic at 475 Broadmead Village in Victoria – two distinct cities, yet they shared the same intriguing number: 475.
The probability that these similar names, familial ties, and house numbers could match randomly is approximately 1 chance in 100 million, as suggested by the channel.
The Framework That Changes Everything
In the year 1989, serving as the Minister of Parks, Terry Huberts penned down a blueprint for a government policy which suggested a method to incorporate private businesses seamlessly into public institutions. This was intended to be done quietly, effectively, and with minimal public oversight.

If Terrence Jason Huberts is identical to or the offspring of that individual, Gothic Therapy posits that Sweet Baby Inc. might have been designed from its inception to function like a hidden storyline within gaming corporations. This consultancy’s purpose isn’t merely to narrate tales, but to manage and manipulate them.
MasterOfTheTDS stated in the video that “If this individual is indeed the same person, then Sweet Baby Inc. wasn’t designed for storytelling from the start. Instead, it was established by the Canadian government right from the beginning, with a structure set up by an insider masquerading as a consulting firm to manage the narrative.
The Government Response That Raises More Questions
After the video’s publication, Gothic Therapy formally asked the British Columbia Legislative Assembly for Terry Huberts’ complete legal name. In turn, they received this reply:
– Following the video’s release, Gothic Therapy submitted a formal request to the British Columbia Legislative Assembly seeking Terry Huberts’ full legal name. The response?
They couldn’t confirm it.
BREAKING:
We contacted the BC Legislative Assembly to confirm the full legal name of Terry Huberts.
Their response?
They can’t verify it.No confirmation. No denial.
Because the truth was never meant to be found.
But we found it anyway.

Since candidates can choose nicknames or abbreviations instead of their legal names for ballots and official records, it is not possible for the Assembly to verify if “Terry Huberts” stands for Terrance Jason Huberts.
In the words of Gothic Therapy: “The truth was never meant to be found. But we found it anyway.”
The Alias That Wasn’t Supposed to Be Found
What’s even more unsettling is that Gothic Therapy found out that Sweet Baby Inc. also established a secondary business name, Design Sweet Baby, on the very same day as the initial filing. There seems to be no public activity, distinct branding, or apparent purpose associated with this entity.

The theory? It was a lifeboat identity—a backup plan in case the first brand faced collapse.
What is the True Origin of Sweet Baby Inc.?
According to Gothic Therapy’s findings, it appears that Sweet Baby Inc. may not be the honest, socially-conscious business it portrays itself to be. Instead, there are indications suggesting it could be a company with a fabricated history, an unacknowledged founder, and potential connections to Canadian government activities.
These events – the deletion of Terrence Jason Huberts, altering corporate records, coinciding with a public figure in the government, and the discovery of a second clandestine identity – seem to suggest not so much an act of innocence, but a carefully orchestrated scheme instead.

MasterOfTheTDS mentioned that there have been suggestions that Sweet Baby Inc could be receiving financial support from the government. However, if this relationship is legitimate, it’s not just about funding; the company was founded by a former government official from its inception. And when this fact posed a threat to their image, they reportedly chose to alter the narrative instead.
Raven wrote, not because it was unimportant, but because it held too much significance for him to reveal it to you.

If gaming companies continue their association with Sweet Baby Incorporated, they may wish to inquire about the genuine founders behind this entity, delving into its origins, and understanding specifically what content they’re granting permission to publish.
