Wamiqa Gabbi, set to feature in Dinesh Vijan’s upcoming comedy “Bhool Chuk Maaf” with Rajkummar Rao, has been actively promoting the movie. In a recent interview, she reminisced about her initial encounter with Shah Rukh Khan and shared an unusual piece of advice from her brother intended to catch the superstar’s eye humorously. He suggested that she should intentionally cut herself, which left everyone speechless and created a moment of profound silence.

During an interview with Mashable India, actress Wamiqa Gabbi spoke about her initial encounter with Shah Rukh Khan on the set of Baby John. She reminisced that on the special first-day ceremony, also known as the Mahurat day, SRK dropped by to say hello to everyone present.

Wamiqa shared that she was hidden among several individuals, making it difficult for Shah Rukh Khan to spot her distinctly. Subsequently, her sibling offered her an unusual suggestion: self-harm by cutting her wrist as a way to draw his attention.

As Shah Rukh came near and greeted her, Wamiqa blurted out about her brother’s peculiar idea, causing a moment of shocked quiet on the set – even for SRK himself. Feeling awkward, she promptly expressed her gratitude.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Bhool Chuk Maaf is all set to hit theatres on May 23, 2025. 

In approximately three minutes, the trailer offers a sneak peek into the storylines of Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s characters, Ranjan and Titli. To gain Titli’s father’s blessing for their union, Ranjan has just two months to obtain a government position.

After securing his new job, both families start planning their wedding. On the 28th, they had the Haldi ceremony, the day before their wedding. But something strange happened – Ranjan got stuck in a time loop on the actual wedding day (the 29th). This unexpected twist sets up an entertaining and exciting storyline for viewers to enjoy.

In addition to the lead characters, the film “Bhool Chuk Maaf” features a talented ensemble cast including Sanjay Mishra, Seema Pahwa, Zakir Hussain, Raghubir Yadav, Ishtiyak Khan, and Anubha Fatehpuria. This film is helmed by director Karan Sharma, with Dinesh Vijan serving as the producer.
