Not too long ago, the couple opted for a fun-filled day playing pickleball with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru team.
Upon announcing his retirement from Test cricket, I, along with my wife Anushka Sharma, journeyed from bustling Mumbai to Delhi, and then onwards to Vrindavan. Our purpose was to seek the blessings of Premanand Ji Maharaj. After our spiritual sojourn, we’ve found ourselves back in our beloved Bengaluru, where we indulged in a delightful game of pickleball.

Meanwhile, on the pickleball court, Virat Kohli, her husband and an Indian cricketer, donned a vibrant blue t-shirt, accompanied by black shorts, white socks, and sneakers. Notice the friendly camaraderie as they exchange playful high-fives.

About a week ago, Virat Kohli announced his departure from Test cricket, causing a wave of sadness among his dedicated fans. Shortly following this, Anushka, his wife, expressed her feelings on Instagram in a heartfelt post. In the caption, she wrote, “People will discuss your achievements and landmarks, but what I’ll recall are the hidden tears, unseen battles, and the constant devotion you demonstrated for this particular sport. I understand how much of yourself this required.
Your wife remarked, ‘Following each Test series, you seemed slightly wiser and more humble. It has been an honor witnessing your growth throughout it all. I guess I always thought you’d retire international cricket in a white uniform, but you’ve consistently followed your heart. So, my dear, I simply want to express that you richly deserve this farewell.’
