The news has been verified that her father and actor Suniel Shetty announced, “She expressed, ‘I don’t wish to, Father,’ and she simply walked away. And it is this determination to follow her own path by saying, ‘I’m not keen. I don’t want to act in films,’ which I truly admire.” Following the film “Motichoor Chaknachoor,” many opportunities came her way, but she responded, “I don’t want to. I’m content as is.

She mentioned that Athiya decided to retreat from public attention to devote more time to her child and lead a more secluded lifestyle.

In 2015, Athiya Shetty started her acting career with the movie “Hero,” which was produced by Salman Khan. Sharing the screen with Sooraj Pancholi, she portrayed Radha Mathur, the daughter of a DCP who develops feelings for her kidnapper.
