‘Frustrated’ Karan Johar questions ‘why we get slotted’ as he admits to breaking barriers with Homebound

During its screening at the 78th Cannes Film Festival, it received a 9-minute standing ovation from the audience. Previously, actor Ishaan Khatter posted on Instagram expressing his anticipation about rejoining Karan Johar and Dharma Productions after a gap of seven years for the film titled Homebound. Looking back at the project, he expressed that it was both emotionally intense and demanding, one that stood out to him as unique and special right from its inception.

Besides expressing his delight over the movie’s trip to Cannes, Ishaan viewed it as a fulfillment of a long-held dream. He attributed this success to careful planning, determination, kindness, and authenticity.
