In Hindi markets, the period drama “Kesari Veer” featuring Sooraj Pancholi will soon enter the competition at the box office. This film, set for release on May 23, 2025, faces a box office rivalry with “Bhool Chuk Maaf” and “Kapkapiii.” In addition to Sooraj, this upcoming historical movie boasts the talents of Vivek Oberoi and Suniel Shetty. Due to limited screenings, it is expected that “Kesari Veer” may start off slowly at the box office.

The movie “Kesari Veer” is collectively created by Rajen Chauhan, Heena Chauhan, Suhraj Chauhan, and Ohm Chauhan. As the release date approaches, it seems like a slow start at the box office for this Sooraj Pancholi film. So far, its screenings have been limited, making it challenging to fill up the remaining slots due to an apparent lack of the necessary momentum in the industry.

Bookings for the upcoming film “Kesari Veer” can only be made at small national cinemas, independent theaters, and individual screens. The success of its opening performance will largely depend on ticket sales from walk-ins throughout the day. This movie is geared towards audiences who enjoy historical dramas, but due to a lack of big-name stars, it appears that cinema-goers might opt for other films instead.

Kesari Veer showcases Sooraj Pancholi portraying Hamirji Gohil, a valiant Rajput warrior engaged in a conflict with the Tughlaq Empire to safeguard Somnath Temple. In this movie, Suniel Shetty takes on the character of Vegdaji and Vivek Oberoi assumes the role of Zafar Khan. Furthermore, Akanksha Sharma, Kiran Kumar, Aruna Irani, and Barkha Bisht are among the main cast members.

Originally planned for release on May 16, 2025, Kesari Veer signifies Sooraj Pancholi’s comeback to the big screen following a four-year hiatus. His last appearance was in Time to Dance in 2021. Prior to that, his other two films were Hero (2015) and Satellite Shankar (2019).
