Alix Earle Joins ‘Dancing With the Stars’ for Season 34

Dancing With the Stars has found its next celebrity contestant.

On Thursday, it was announced that influencer Alix Earle is set to appear in the upcoming 34th season of the popular competition series, set to air this autumn.

Earle, boasting over 7.5 million TikTok followers and 4.3 million on Instagram, experienced a meteoric rise in social media popularity in the year 2022, prior to graduating from the University of Miami. Her most-viewed content includes “get ready with me” (GRWM) videos, beauty tutorials, and lifestyle advice. Apart from this, Earle is the host of her own podcast titled “Hot Mess”.

In the previous month, it was disclosed that conservationist and television personality, Robert Irwin, will be part of season 34. The decision to cast him coincided with the official renewal of Dancing With the Stars for this upcoming season. He will now share the stage with his older sister, Bindi Irwin, who previously emerged victorious in the show’s 21st season back in 2015, partnered with Derek Hough. Both Robert and Bindi are the offspring of the late Steve Irwin, famously known as “The Crocodile Hunter.

The lineup of famous stars and skilled dancers for the upcoming season’s debut will be disclosed at a future time.

In November 2024, former “Bachelor” cast member Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson were crowned winners of the season 33 Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy.

During the previous television season, this show topped all network entertainment series for viewers aged 18-49 during the fall, earning a 0.86 rating after a week of viewing (excluding streaming). It attracted a total audience of 5.86 million viewers, maintaining the same viewership as it did in 2023 – which, these days, is considered quite impressive.

In the final episode of season 33, the program attracted its largest viewer count in over three years, with a total of 7.95 million viewers and a 1.55 rating among adults aged 18-49.
