I’m head over heels for the adorable couple that is Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa – they’re undeniably one of Bollywood’s favorite duos! They’ve been together for quite some time before tying the knot in 2021, but their love story has only grown stronger. Not too long ago, I was thrilled to hear that Stree 2’s star actor shared an endearing tale about standing up for his beloved wife, Patralekhaa. He even let go of their chef when he showed disrespect towards her!

During an interview on Raunaq Rajani’s program, RelashionShit Advice, the comedian opened up about his chef who seems to disrespect his wife. Despite feeling uncomfortable with this situation, he hadn’t found the nerve to dismiss him. In contrast, actor Rajkummar Rao shared his unique approach when faced with a similar dilemma in his own experience.

He pointed out an interesting contrast to the audience, saying “Let me give you a personal story from our home. Look at this difference!” He went on to explain that they recently hired a fantastic chef who appeared to be around 48 years old. The actor underscored the predicament by mentioning that it was unusual for them to have a chef preparing Mexican vegetarian dishes instead of traditional Indian ‘hari sabzi and rice.’

As a lifestyle connoisseur, allow me to share an insightful tale from my own experiences. The other day, I was delightfully reminded of a fantastic Mexican platter skillfully prepared by our esteemed chef. Yet, when my cherished partner Patralekhaa brought to my attention his disrespectful treatment towards me, I found myself compelled to part ways with him.

He explained, “Two days after, Patra confided in me, ‘Hey, this fellow doesn’t treat me kindly. I suspect there’s some problem.’ I picked up on it too. On the third day, when Patra posed a question to him, he made an unfriendly expression. However, he spoke respectfully with me. Guess what I did? I contacted him and said, ‘It’s time for you to gather your belongings and depart.’

This story was met with a huge cheer and applause from the audience present in the room. 

For more than ten years, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa were romantically involved with one another, and they tied the knot on November 15, 2021.

At his work, Rao is thrilled about the premiere of the comedic family film “Bhool Chuk Maaf,” co-starring Wamiqa Gabbi, hitting theaters on May 23, 2025.

In the upcoming action-packed movie “Maalik,” he’ll make his next appearance. The release date for this film is set for July 11, 2025, on the big screen.
