Elden Ring Live-Action Movie Lead Actor Is Someone The Director Is Familiar With
According to reports from Deadline, it’s being said that Kit Connor, known for roles in ‘Heartstopper’ and ‘Warfare’, may be negotiating a role with director Alex Garland for the Elden Ring live-action adaption.
Up until now, it’s unclear if negotiations have progressed or if an official proposal has been tabled, but there are reports suggesting that both Garland and Connor are interested in collaborating again. If these claims are accurate, then we can expect Garland and Connor to join forces for another project. Notably, Connor was a part of the cast for Warfare, a movie jointly directed by Garland and Ray Mendoza, which hit theaters last month.
In a recent announcement, it’s been revealed that Garland will take on both writing and directorial duties for the Elden Ring movie. Notably, Peter Rice will join forces with him in production, along with George R.R. Martin, who is famously known as the creator of Game of Thrones.
Though Kit Connor may not be widely recognized yet, he has made a mark with the Netflix series Heartstopper. If Connor secures the role in Tarnished, this could very well be his most prominent job so far, propelling him to stardom given the immense popularity of the Elden Ring franchise that extends beyond video games.
The upcoming Elden Ring film is being developed by A24, who are also responsible for kick-starting the production of the Death Stranding movie. Collaborating with A24 on this project will be Bandai Namco Entertainment, the company that publishes the Elden Ring video games.
Tomorrow, the spinoff game titled “Elden Ring Nightreign” by FromSoftware, which emphasizes multiplayer interaction, will be available on consoles and PC. This game has received varying opinions from critics so far, with our review highlighting that your enjoyment is highly influenced by your teammates.
