How To Give Items to Teammates in Elden Ring Nightreign

Previously mentioned, Elden Ring Nightreign lacks an integrated trading mechanism. However, if you desire to gift items to your companions, you can choose to abandon them instead. Here’s a simple guide on how to do it:

1. Locate the item(s) you wish to share in your inventory.
2. Select the item(s) by tapping or clicking on them.
3. Choose the “Discard” or “Drop” option from the menu that appears.
4. Confirm that you want to discard the item(s).
5. Your friend can then pick up the discarded item(s) when they are near the location where you dropped it/them.

  • Once you’ve collected an item that may be of interest to a teammate, head over to them. Open your inventory by pressing the ESC key if on PC. If on consoles, the prompt to do so is Options on PlayStation and Start on Xbox. 
  • Use the arrow keys (or mouse if on PC) to select the item you wish to give, and discard it. You can do so by pressing the – key on PC, the Square button on PlayStation, and X on Xbox. 
  • The item will then drop onto the floor, and your teammate can then pick it up to use it. If your teammate wishes to give you an item, they have to follow the same steps.
