It seems as if Sabrina Carpenter is preparing to follow in Lana Del Rey’s footsteps, criticizing a “Manchild” similar to the one she referenced on the opening track of Norman Fucking Rockwell!

Approximately nine months following the release of her successful sixth album, “Short N’ Sweet,” which earned her two Grammy Awards, Carpenter is returning with new music. On Tuesday, she officially announced her latest single titled “Manchild,” after sharing a sneak peek online the previous day featuring herself standing by the desert road, trying to hitch a ride, hinting at upcoming tunes.

‘Manchild’ will be released on Thursday, June 5th,” Carpenter posted beneath a picture showing her with her distinctive golden curls, hitchhiking with a thumbs-up gesture.
