In the early part of the year, Swatch and Blancpain reunited to reveal a striking version of their Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms, this time in a captivating PINK OCEAN design. The latest offering from their joint series is called GREEN ABYSS, a tribute to the enigmatic wonders hidden within the depths of the ocean.

Suited for adventurers and marine lovers, GREEN ABYSS showcases a deep green casing, accentuated with earthy beige and black hues, reminiscent of the mysterious underwater environments. The dial incorporates an authentic moisture detector at 6 o’clock, a detail cherished by collectors and first introduced by Blancpain in specific models since 1954. This sensor, which alters color to indicate moisture, guarantees the watch’s waterproof capabilities.

This watch showcases the distinctive qualities of the Fifty Fathoms collection, such as top-notch water resistance and mechanical operation. Inside it is Swatch’s groundbreaking SISTEM51 movement, recognized for its 90-hour power reserve and anti-magnetic Nivachron hairspring. Similar to previous Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms editions, the transparent caseback displays a digital print. For the GREEN ABYSS model, it showcases an image of the Felimare picta nudibranch, a lively marine creature that represents the mysteries of the deep sea.

Starting from June 7, 2025, the Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms GREEN ABYSS, priced at $400 USD, will be accessible at selected Swatch outlets.
