Marvel Reveals Baby Franklin Richards’ First Look in Fantastic Four Movie

As a die-hard Marvel fan, I couldn’t contain my excitement when Marvel Studios unveiled a sneak peek of Franklin Richards in “The Fantastic Four: First Steps.” While it was previously hinted that Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm would be pregnant in the film, a Funko Pop! figurine gave us a clue that she and Reed’s son (Franklin Richards) would make an appearance on screen, as Franklin got his own Pop! To add to the excitement, other merchandise suggested that Franklin would play a significant role in the movie. For instance, a statue of Franklin was displayed at CCXPMx 2025, hinting at his presence in the film.

In the recently unveiled trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, we get our first official on-screen glimpse of Franklin Richards, a character previously only seen in toy form and never officially presented by Marvel Studios.

The trailer unveiled along with the news about ticket sales for “The Fantastic Four” included a scene showing a young Franklin Richards, resting in a crib surrounded by his parents – Sue Storm and Reed Richards portrayed by Pedro Pascal.

The picture highlights Franklin dressed in an adorable onesie that harmonizes flawlessly with the hues found in The Fantastic Four’s superhero costumes. In this scene, Franklin is visible with his arm extended and his hand resting gently on Sue’s face while he gazes intently into her eyes.

In the video, we see Sue grasping Franklin’s left arm and Reed positioned on Franklin’s opposite side. One of Reed’s hands rests on Franklin, while his other arm wraps around the back of Sue’s head. This scene seems to depict a tender, close-knit family moment between them.

It remains undetermined just how much screen time Franklin Richards will receive in the upcoming movie “The Fantastic Four: First Steps“, however, it is confirmed that he will be part of Marvel’s founding family, alongside Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, Ebon-Moss Bachrach portraying Ben Grimm, and naturally, Reed and Sue too.
