Malbon Golf has teed up yet another fashionable collab, this time with Gap.
In a fusion of LA street style and preppy elegance, the sportswear label based in Los Angeles reworks Gap’s game-ready essentials, offering pieces priced between $18 and $138. Expect performance sweaters, striped polo shirts, pleated plaid shorts and skorts, herringbone utility vests paired with matching baggy pants, graphic tees, hoodies emblazoned with French terry logos, and a variety of other items. This 33-piece collection further includes accessories like baseball caps and golf club covers. The collection is currently accessible online and in certain Gap stores across the U.S.
To mark their partnership, Gap and Malbon enlisted Swedish pro golfer and brand representative Jesper Parnevik, along with his music artist child Peg Parnevik and actor child Phoenix Parnevik, to showcase the line in promotional materials. Additionally, these two brands took control of the Plainfield Country Club in Edison, New Jersey, for the Gap x Malbon Invitational event. Notable attendees like Dane Belton from the NY Giants, Bravolebrity Jesse Solomon, Michael Strahan of Good Morning America, rapper Ja Rule, and other well-known athletes and celebrities donned pieces from the collection while participating in a golf tournament with a group start format.
Erica and Stephen Malbon, who jointly founded a company, share their enthusiasm about partnering with Gap in a statement. They mention that they’ve been associated with Gap since childhood, and the prospect of merging golf culture with Gap’s rich history is extremely appealing to them. For them, Gap symbolizes what an American brand can embody – it represents the intersection of style and practicality. Therefore, they are delighted that each item created in this collaboration truly embodies the essence of both brands.
According to Mark Breitbard, CEO and president of Gap, “Malbon has nurtured an energetic atmosphere around the sport of golf. This enables us to attract a fresh clientele and unite our two communities in a novel manner. Our partnership with Malbon embodies the distinctive blend of fashion, sports, and culture, providing a chance for self-expression, whether on or off the golf course, through the lens of cherished Gap symbols.

The Gap capsule continues with Malbon Golf’s collaboration lineup, which includes Jimmy Choo, and is also launched alongside Ring Concierge, Adidas and other brands. Notably, Malbon’s items have been sported by celebrities like Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Travis Scott, and Anthony Anderson. The brand has also enlisted professional athletes as ambassadors, such as the No. 1 world champion Jason Day, LPGA stars Jeongeun Lee, Charley Hull, Minjee Lee, up-and-coming Filipina player Bianca Pagdanganan and others.
