Two Survivor Castaways Celebrated Pride Month By Going Public With Their Relationship

As the players for Survivor 50 have been revealed and with months to go before Survivor 49 hits the airwaves, the fanbase has been searching for something to stir their enthusiasm. The recent announcement of Traitors 4 cast members, many of whom are former contestants, provided a brief diversion. Here’s another piece of news that will excite you! We have an alert about a new romantic duo!

Survivor 45 contestants Katurah Topps and Sabiyah Broderick announced on social media and via a follow-up article in Out that they’re officially together. Apparently the two started hanging out after the cast took a trip to Cape Cod together after their season filmed. That turned into the two being BFFs and talking every day, which turned into dating casually, which turned into being fully together.

You might want to take a look at Katurah’s post on Instagram. It’s filled with sweet photos and heartwarming video clips featuring them as a couple.

You might be wondering if these two individuals crossed paths during their time on “Survivor”. However, it turns out that wasn’t the case. Sabiyah was part of the unlucky Lulu tribe, which experienced a rapid series of departures. Four original members left in quick succession, one voluntarily quitting, another effectively quitting through a medical issue, and two more including Sabiyah due to losing every immunity challenge. Things were so dire that “Survivor” implemented an early tribe swap, moving Katurah to Lulu. Unfortunately for the story, Sabiyah had already been eliminated the night before, so they never played together in reality.

It’s fortunate for the joyful duo that the Survivor community is more intertwined than ever these days. With a plethora of live events attended by past players every season and an abundance of podcast appearances, cast members frequently socialize both during and after their seasons, often in large groups. Additionally, some unusual and unanticipated friendships have emerged. As a result, despite the fact that many Survivor 50 contestants haven’t played together before, there has been much speculation among fans about who might know each other personally due to these relationships.

Frankly, it’s no shock that the dating announcement has sparked an outpouring of enthusiasm from both die-hard fans and former Survivor contestants. Scanning through the original post, I noticed a wave of encouragement from ex-Survivor players, with Carolyn, Jake, Austin, Teeny, Heidi, Sai, Tevin, and numerous others expressing their support from the New Era. To top it off, OG favorites like Eliza, Brice, Wendell, Gabby, and John Carroll also chimed in with their well-wishes. It’s truly heartening to see such a strong display of camaraderie within the Survivor community!

With the buzz surrounding Survivor 50 and frequent criticisms about fan-favorite players being eliminated, it’s quite probable we’ll witness another season shortly, featuring returning contestants. It will certainly be intriguing to observe if either of these two individuals are given a second chance, as they were well-liked among viewers.
