Moira Walley-Beckett Out as ‘Fourth Wing’ Showrunner

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Moira Walley-Beckett is no longer serving as the showrunner for Amazon’s adaptation of Fourth Wing.

WandaVision’s creator, Jac Schaeffer, has inked a comprehensive agreement with Amazon MGM Studios, and is being considered to take over as the showrunner for the television series, Fourth Wing. The TV venture known as Fourth Wing originates from Amazon MGM Studios and Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society.

Walley-Beckett, who wrote and produced for ‘Breaking Bad’ and created the series ‘Anne With an E’, agreed to take on the role of showrunner for Amazon’s ‘Fourth Wing’ last summer. As of now, ‘Fourth Wing’ has not been commissioned as a series and does not have a cast assigned.

The executive producers for this project are Michael B. Jordan, Elizabeth Raposo (from Outlier), Rebecca Yarros (the author of the book series), and Liz Pelletier (head of her publishing company Entangled Publishing). Additionally, Stefano Agosto, who is the executive vice president of TV at Outlier Society, will co-executive produce.

More to come.
