Scott Rudin Returning to Broadway With Barry Diller-Backed Play

Following his announcement that he would rejoin for the next theatre season, Scott Rudin is now officially coming back to Broadway with a brand-new production.

Barrie Diller, along with Rudin, plans to produce Samuel D. Hunter’s play titled “Little Bear Ridge Road” for a limited run of 18 weeks. The production will feature Laurie Metcalf and Micah Stock, starting from October 7, and it is scheduled to have its opening night on October 30 at Broadway’s Booth Theatre.

In an interview with The Times this year, Rudin discussed the accusations and their aftermath while mentioning he was working on three new projects. He shared, “I have more self-discipline now than I did four years ago.” He went on to express, “I’ve realized I’m not as important as I thought, and I believe that’s a good thing.” Additionally, he emphasized, “I don’t want to disappoint anyone.
