The Water Festival is all geared up to create a big splash in Pokémon Go, but there’s even more excitement coming up! As the event nears its end, Gigantamax Lapras will be the main attraction during a special Max Battle Day on July 19th. For a brief three-hour window, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm local time, you’ll get the chance to encounter this mighty ice beast, and if fortune smiles upon you, maybe even its Shiny version!

In the exciting world of Pokémon Go, Gigantamax Lapras isn’t just about looks for your battles; it brings significant enhancements for those aiming to strengthen their battle teams. For a limited period, the number of Remote Raid Passes you can hold increases to 20, and you stand to gain eight Max Particles from Power Spots.

In addition to higher refresh rates in those areas and double the number of particles from exploration, the maximum particle collection limit is significantly increased. If you’ve already collected all the daily particles using the Nearby menu, your exploring distance will contribute even more towards filling up the limit.

To better assist you in your preparation, a complimentary Timed Research line starts on July 14th. Finish it to receive a Dynamax Passimian, perfect for enhancing your Max Battle team, together with Candy and extra Max Particles.
