The original deal for selling the intellectual property of Fyre has failed, so its founder has decided to offer it up for sale again. In a video, he stated that whoever acquires the Fyre brand will have an opportunity to organize festivals, collaborate on merchandise, create extraordinary pop-ups, manage live streams, or establish a media company.

The auction commenced with an initial bid set at just a penny, and it’s now valued at an astonishing $200,100 USD. According to the listing details, the successful bidder will obtain the brand name, various festival domains, as well as connections with artists and talent, among other things.

Previously in June, McFarland unveiled a fresh Fyre event, scheduled for Honduras, following the cancellation of Fyre Fest 2. The forthcoming “Fyre Coral View Pop-Up in Utila” is tentatively set from September 3 to September 10 on the minimally developed island of Utila.
