Linda Yaccarino has left X.
The previous NBCUniversal ad sales executive announced on Wednesday that she is leaving the Elon Musk-owned social media platform, following a tenure of two years.
The first time I discussed Elon Musk’s vision for his company, X, with him, I immediately recognized it as a once-in-a-lifetime chance to contribute to this remarkable mission. I am deeply appreciative that he has given me the task of upholding free speech, revitalizing the company, and evolving X into what we call the Everything App.
She went on to say that X functions as a digital community center where everyone’s opinions matter, and it serves as the strongest indicator of global culture. We wouldn’t have reached this level without the cooperation of our users, collaborators, and an exceptional team of innovators.”
Or:
“She explained that X is a significant digital meeting place for diverse voices, representing the world’s most influential cultural trend. Our success wouldn’t have been possible without the backing of our audience members, business partners, and the world’s leading innovative minds.
Yaccarino didn’t explain why he decided to depart from the tech firm, which used to be called Twitter, as his reason remains unknown.
More to come.
