The realm of Warcraft is vast, and it’s only natural that there remain hidden corners waiting to be explored. Evidence of this can be seen with the launch of The Lost City of Un’Goro expansion for the popular card game Hearthstone! It’s now your turn to delve into this rediscovered city and uncover its secrets.
The focus of this development revolves around the mysterious title-bearing Lost City buried within the Un’Goro Crater. Accompany Loh, the intrepid Tortollan explorer, on their mission to unearth its hidden mysteries. Longtime enthusiasts might recall venturing into the city during the previous expansion, Journey to Un’Goro, which dates back to 2017!
The long-lost city of Un’Goro is brimming with an impressive 145 fresh cards, which include Story and Map cards among them. Additionally, this expansion introduces a new keyword called Kindred and the return of Quest. The Kindred ability gives you an extra effect if you played a card of similar type or spell category in your previous turn on the last go-round.
Lost and found
One thing that can be said for Hearthstone’s expansions is that they always seemed to be packed to the gills with new stuff to do. And while newer players who weren’t around for the original expansion may feel a bit astray, I’d assume that effort has been made in order to ensure that they’re up to speed with Un’Goro and all the characters involved.
