‘Queer Eye’ Set to End With Season 10 at Netflix

Netflix is winding down its longest-running unscripted series to date.

The host announced that the tenth season of Queer Eye is going to be its finale. Filming for this final season commenced on Wednesday in Washington, D.C.

In 2018, a revamped version of the early 2000s Bravo show “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” debuted, featuring a new Fab Five: Antoni Porowski (culinary and wine), Jonathan Van Ness (hair, makeup, and personal grooming), Karamo Brown (relationships and culture), Tan France (fashion), and Bobby Berk (design). However, after season eight, Berk left the show, and Jeremiah Brent took over as the design expert for the remaining two seasons.

The Netflix reboot of “Queer Eye” has been on the air longer than any other unscripted original series produced by Netflix up until now, with a total of 91 episodes (including specials and a four-episode journey to Japan). This show surpasses the original Bravo series, which aired over five seasons and produced 100 episodes. Moreover, “Queer Eye” has been honored with 11 Emmy Awards, including an unprecedented six consecutive wins for the category of best structured reality program from 2018 to 2023.

The executive producers of “Queer Eye” include David Collins, Michael Williams, and Rob Eric from Scout Productions; Jennifer Lane who also acts as the showrunner; Jordana Hochman, Mark Bracero, and Lyndsey Burr for ITV Entertainment; and Brent, Brown, France, Porowski, and Van Ness. In simpler terms, these are the key people responsible for making “Queer Eye” happen, with different roles such as production, show management, and being cast members.
