Here’s why Dae-ho didn’t bring Ammo in Squid Game Season 2’s rebellion
Dae-Ho became nervous as he collected the ammunition because he had previously fabricated his military history. When he didn’t come back, Hyun-ju was dispatched to bring the supplies. It was then that Gi-Hun questioned him about his deceit. This is when he admitted to his falsehood, explaining that he lied about his background in order to team up with Gi-Hun and increase their chances of survival.
Gi-Hun found Dae-Ho’s treachery hard to accept and yearned for a chance to retaliate against him. This chance presented itself in the very next game, titled Hide & Seek, where the situation perfectly aligned for Gi-Hun. In this game, Gi-Hun was assigned to the red team, tasked with hunting the blue team, which was where Dae-Ho was hiding.
The game saw Gi-Hun pursuing Dae-Ho for reasons behind his failure to bring ammo. When they finally faced off, it was Dae-Ho who spoke first, admitting that he suffered a panic attack while getting the ammunition. He became immobilized and couldn’t join the battle.
