When Kevin Abstract and Dominic Fike released the song “Geezer” prior to Abstract’s album Blush, there was a lot of excitement online. These artists have a history of collaborating creatively, with their most notable joint efforts being on Abstract’s songs “Peach” and “Crumble” from the ARIZONA BABY album (although Fike is not credited as an artist), and more recently, the standout track “Geezer” off Blush.
It appears that the term “Geezer” has evolved in meaning beyond just being the title of their first jointly credited collaboration. Now, it signifies the creative partnership between Abstract and Fike, as indicated by Abstract’s announcement on Instagram.
Abstract teamed up with Dominic Fike to form a band which we call Geezer. Our latest track ‘Doggy’ has just been released and is available everywhere.
The press release shares a similar message, indicating that the twosome are building on their recent “Geezer” single by announcing they’ve collaborated once more under the moniker “Geezer,” which is derived from the track they launched last month.
