It has been revealed that Justin Bieber is set to launch a new album titled The Hollywood Reporter. On the 11th of July, Friday, Def Jam Records plans to unveil this much anticipated seventh studio album of his.
A representative for Bieber didn’t reply to request for comment. Def Jam declined to comment.
According to THR’s report, Bieber traveled to Iceland towards the end of April to finalize his latest project, marking his first since 2021’s “Justice”. During this Nordic retreat, he held jam sessions and had the opportunity to create a relaxed atmosphere with several musical partners, as an insider disclosed.
Starting on Thursday, a billboard featuring Justin Bieber and the word “Swag” has been gaining popularity online. It’s possible this could be the title of his upcoming album, although that hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. Interestingly, a similar billboard was also put up in Los Angeles on the same day.

According to reports given to THR, Justin Bieber has been hosting musical gatherings at his LA residence lately. These sessions have seen attendees such as his long-term DJ Tay James, musical director HARV, collaborator Carter Lang from SZA’s group, and Australian artist Eddie Benjamin. The upcoming album will feature Gunna, Sexyy Red, and Cash Cobain, artists whom Bieber has recently acknowledged on social media.
Justin Bieber also sought out the skills of U.K. singer-songwriter Sekou and producer Dylan Wiggins, who has worked on songs like Kali Uchis’ “I Wish You Roses” and The Weeknd’s “Die For You. He found these relatively unknown musicians on social media platforms and reached out to them through direct messages.
Justin Bieber’s much-anticipated album arrives four years since his last release, and his personal life has undergone considerable transformation during this interval. For instance, he welcomed a child with wife Hailey Bieber in the previous year. In terms of music, there’s been a shift as well; he parted ways with his long-term manager Scooter Braun in 2023. Notably, Braun recently declared earlier this month that he’s relinquishing his role as CEO of Hybe America.
According to THR’s report, the duo settled their outstanding financial disputes, primarily concerning a debt that arose when Bieber’s Justice tour was canceled in 2022. At the time, a representative for Bieber chose not to comment on the settlement details. Due to his failure to complete the concert dates as per contract with AEG (the tour promoter), Bieber was left with an outstanding debt of over $20 million to AEG. His then-manager, Braun, through his company, covered this debt by providing a loan. The two were involved in various ventures together, such as a record label and film projects.
As a gamer, I can’t help but feel a tinge of excitement when I think about my involvement in the massive $200 million catalog deal with Hipgnosis Songs (now Recognition Music) for Justin Bieber’s songwriting interests. This could very well be the biggest nest egg in music history for an artist under 30!
And here’s another tidbit that adds to the excitement – Hailey, who tied the knot with Justin in 2018, just sold her Rhode Beauty skincare brand to e.l.f. Beauty for a whopping $1 billion. Guess who was a seed investor? You guessed it, yours truly!
