Ahsoka Season 2: The 10 Most Powerful Characters You Didn’t See Coming!

In the second season of the Star Wars series on Disney+ called Ahsoka, it’s confirmed that seven characters with Force abilities will appear. Some of these characters are extremely powerful in the galaxy, while others have only a little bit of this power. While details about the new season are scarce, fans do know which characters will be featured.

From my perspective as a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that as we speak, the second season of Ahsoka is being brought to life on set. In an exciting move, Rosario Dawson, our talented Ahsoka Tano, posted a backstage snapshot for fans in April 2025, signaling that filming had started. At this stage, there’s no fixed release date yet, but speculation points towards a 2026 debut on Disney+. Can’t wait to see more!

Ranking Every Force User in Ahsoka Season 2 by Power Level

Anakin Skywalker

Anakin Skywalker will make his comeback in Season 2 of “Ahsoka” and will undoubtedly be at the pinnacle of any list ranking characters by their power. As the Chosen One, he was born through the Force in a Star Wars-style immaculate conception, making him superior to others.

If Anakin had been able to fully tap into his abilities, there’s no doubt he would have been the greatest force in the galaxy. But now, having merged with the Force and gained access to the World Between Worlds, he might have finally reached his peak strength.

The Father

In the Star Wars universe, it’s debatable who might surpass Anakin Skywalker in power, but one strong contender is the Father figure from Mortis. When Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka encountered him, they witnessed the Father as a symbol of harmony within the Force. It’s indisputable that he is the mightiest among the three deities of Mortis. And when Anakin isn’t operating at peak strength, it’s reasonable to suggest that the Father could be more potent than the Chosen One himself.

In the series Ahsoka, it’s possible that Anakin reaches his peak strength. If this is true, he certainly outshines the Father in many ways. However, just because he surpasses the Father doesn’t automatically make him more powerful overall. Rather, their power levels are quite comparable, but due to certain factors, Anakin might be considered stronger.

Implying that Baylan Skoll received a call from a superior force on Peridea, and subsequently stood atop a statue symbolizing the Father, the series hinted at the possible return and immense power of the Father in Season 2.

The Son & The Daughter

Dave Filoni hinted at Star Wars Celebration 2025 that the deities from Mortis may feature in Ahsoka Season 2. At the very least, he suggested they’d play a part in some capacity. If the Daughter doesn’t make an appearance, it wouldn’t be too shocking given her essence seems to dwell within Ahsoka. However, the Son has no reason not to show up.

In simpler terms, the Son and Daughter, who are deities from a different dimension called Mortis, aren’t quite as powerful as their Father. The Son symbolizes the Dark Side, while the Daughter embodies the Light Side. Although they have immense power, they can’t compete with Anakin or their Father in terms of strength. This was demonstrated in the ‘Mortis’ arc of The Clone Wars.

Baylan Skoll

Baylan Skoll and Ahsoka Tano possess comparable power levels, yet in direct confrontations, it’s clear that Baylan has the edge. When they clashed on Seatos, Baylan emerged victorious effortlessly. Granted, Ahsoka had a few distractions clouding her thoughts during this fight, but even with these considerations, Baylan managed to defeat her.

Yet, when they crossed paths once more on Peridea during Episode 7, Ahsoka wasn’t able to overcome Baylan in battle. Despite her previous victories against characters like Maul and the Inquisitors, and even a stalemate with Darth Vader in their Rebels encounter, Ahsoka demonstrates a remarkable level of power.

As a film enthusiast, I must admit that Ahsoka Tano has certainly made a name for herself, but there have been two instances where Baylan managed to outshine her. The first victory was before she even ventured into the World Between Worlds alongside Anakin Skywalker. In Season 2, fans are eagerly anticipating a potential rematch between Ahsoka and Baylan, or perhaps Baylan squaring off against another character that could provide insight into his true power level.

Ahsoka

In the vast cosmos of Star Wars, Ahsoka stands out as a deeply developed character, so fans have a solid grasp of her capabilities. Initially, in the early episodes of ‘Ahsoka’, it was evident that her power level was similar to what we saw in ‘Rebels’. However, as the story unfolded, particularly following her final training from Anakin in the World Between Worlds, Ahsoka’s power grew even more significant.

While Ahsoka Tano demonstrates impressive Force abilities in her Disney+ series, it’s important to note that she falls significantly short when compared to characters like Anakin Skywalker and the deities of Mortis. Despite being stronger than many, Ahsoka’s power level is more akin to a young Jedi apprentice rather than these highly powerful figures. This observation does not diminish Ahsoka’s capabilities but instead underscores the extraordinary might that Anakin and the Mortis gods possess.

Ezra Bridger

Fans of Star Wars have had the pleasure of witnessing Ezra Bridger evolve from a young character into a formidable Jedi, thanks to shows like Rebels and Ahsoka. By the conclusion of Ahsoka Season 1, it’s fair to say that Ezra has become quite a powerful Jedi. Throughout Rebels, his maturity played a significant role in the growth of his powers, but it appears as though his development has plateaued since he and Thrawn were propelled to Peridea following an explosion.

To put it simply, I can confidently assert that Ezra’s Force abilities surpass those of the newcomers we’ll see in Ahsoka Season 2. Yet, it would be a vast understatement to suggest he is on par with Ahsoka Tano when it comes to power.

Shin Hati

In the second season of “Ahsoka,” we find Shin Hati yet again, as she remains on Peridea but has been left behind by Baylan Skoll. When it comes to her abilities in the Force compared to other characters in the series, Shin falls towards the lower end rather than the higher echelons of power.

It’s clear that while Shin isn’t quite as strong as Ezra, she possesses greater power than Sabine, thanks to her extensive training in the Jedi arts under Baylan for numerous years. In fact, during Ahsoka Season 1, Shin managed to outmatch Sabine, and if their fight on Peridea had been a fair one-on-one encounter, it’s likely she would have emerged victorious again.

Jacen Syndulla

Jacen Syndulla, though still young, appears to possess a latent ability in the Force, hinted at during Season 1 of Ahsoka’s storyline. As the son of Kanan Jarrus and Hera Syndulla, Jacen seems to inherit natural talents in the Force. Impressively, he was able to sense Ahsoka’s presence even after she seemingly vanished on Seatos, without any formal training.

In Season 2, Jacen’s role hasn’t been set yet, but fans might witness his power escalating further. If he shows up in future productions (which seems likely), there’s a chance that with the right guidance, he could reach extraordinary levels of power. However, as we stand at the end of Ahsoka Season 2, he’s still on a significant journey towards reaching his full potential.

Sabine Wren

Sabine Wren stands out among other characters due to her apparent lack of full Force-sensitivity, similar to Chirrut Îmwe from Rogue One. Unlike traditionally Force-sensitive individuals, Chirrut wasn’t directly tapped into the Force, but he was deeply spiritual and had a profound connection with it through his beliefs. This connection allowed him to almost instinctively use the Force for self-protection and to help it fulfill its purpose.

In Season 1 of Ahsoka, Sabine resembled Chirrut Îmwe in her appearance. Although she could sense the Force to some degree, Ahsoka sought to help her develop these skills further, but it was evident that she wasn’t at par with a typical Jedi Padawan or Youngling. To put it simply, Sabine doesn’t possess a particularly high level of Midichlorians, meaning she isn’t incredibly powerful in the Force compared to others, yet she remains connected to it.
