Where’s Potato? lets you play as an elusive potato with a penchant for hiding or a Seeker trying to put a potato in its place, out now

  • Play as a potato and try to hide from your friends
  • Play as a Seeker to find the potato before time runs out
  • Out now on iOS and Android

Independent game developer Nav has revealed that the studio’s entertaining potato-themed hide-and-seek game, titled Where’s Potato?, is now accessible on iOS and Android devices. Earlier this year in February, we discussed its initial release exclusively for Android, but with its official unveiling on both systems, players can engage in a fun online experience by pretending to be a potato while tricking their rivals, all while experiencing some spicy competition with the inclusion of virtual chilli peppers.

In “Where’s Potato?”, you’ll step into the shoes of the title character – a mischievous vegetable. This game offers a humorous twist on hide-and-seek. One player will transform into an elusive potato, skillfully hiding itself in tricky locations, while the rest of the players take turns to search for this hidden spud before the clock runs out.

It appears that there’s an option called Lights Out, making the maps pitch-black, but don’t worry, if you’re playing as the Seeker, you’ll have a reliable torch to help you locate the elusive potato and return it to its proper spot.

But if you happen to be the elusive potato, you won’t be left defenceless, either. You can consume hot chilli peppers to go on Attack Mode – this means you can burn your pursuers and watch them suffer the consequences of their actions. I’d say that’s an interesting way to get vengeance – after all, you’re just a harmless potato trying to live your best life.
