HBO has commenced filming for its Harry Potter television adaptation, bringing on new cast members and unveiling the initial image of Dominic McLaughlin dressed as a young Harry Potter.
The show has begun filming in at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, UK.
As a gamer enthusiastically diving into the latest Harry Potter game, I’m thrilled to share that additional cast members have been announced to bring key characters to life! Rory Wilmot steps into the shoes of Neville Longbottom, Amos Kitson takes on the role of Dudley Dursley, Louise Brealey will enchant us as Madam Rolanda Hooch, and Anton Lesser will captivate us as Garrick Ollivander. Can’t wait to see these talented actors bring the magical world to life!

HBO intends to transform every one of J.K. Rowling’s globally acclaimed novels into separate seasons for TV broadcast.
So far, the main characters from J.K. Rowling’s first Harry Potter novel, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,” have already been cast in the project.
In this rephrased version, we can say that the Emmy-winning actor John Lithgow (from the show “Conclave”) assumes a crucial part as the affectionate and insightful Headmaster Albus Dumbledore of Hogwarts.
Actress Janet McTeer, who was nominated for an Oscar (“Ozark” being one of her projects), will be portraying the strict character of Professor Minerva McGonagall in the Transfiguration department.
Paapa Essiedu is set to portray the character of the disdainful Potions Master, Severus Snape, in the series “Black Mirror.
Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead) will play the lumbering Hogwarts gamekeeper Rubeus Hagrid.
In the main group of child actors, Dominic McLaughlin portrays Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton takes on the role of Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout plays Ron Weasley.
