Martin Scorsese, Ron Howard Nominated for First Emmys for Acting for ‘The Studio’

On Tuesday, Martin Scorsese and Ron Howard earned their initial Emmy nominations for acting, recognized in this category for their roles in the series “The Studio,” which is streamed on Apple TV+.

Alongside actors from “Studio c,” specifically Dave Franco, Bryan Cranston, and Anthony Mackie, as well as Jon Bernthal from “The Bear,” they were both nominated in the category for Best Guest Actor in a Comedy Series.

Notably, the show boasts an impressive roster of cameos, with names like Scorsese, Olivia Wilde, Zac Efron, Howard, Ice Cube, Charlize Theron, and Nick Stoller appearing so far.

Rogen, Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, and Frida Perez jointly developed this series. They serve as executive producers alongside James Weaver from Point Grey, Alex McAtee, and Josh Fagen.
